Process
Applicants must complete the ABP online application form before being considered for admission.  The steps to completing the form are below
  1. A completed online application.
  2. Upload a copy of an iBT TOEFL (53 Minimum for the fall applicants and 61 minimum for the spring applicants) or IELTS score (4.5 minimum for the fall applicants and 5.0 minimum for the spring applicants).
  3. Upload a copy an official final General Secondary Education Certificate or the equivalent for graduates from secondary schools following different systems with a score of 75% (C average) for the fall applicants and 80% (B average) for the spring applicants. If the applicant is applying from a British School system they need to upload two AS grades and 5 IGCSE grades.
  4. A sponsorship letter, if applicable, from the sponsoring ministry or organization.
  5. Upload a passport-size photos.
  6. Upload a copy of Qatar ID card.
  7. Upload a copy of passport.
  8. Pay the application fee of 500 QAR online.
Admissions deadlines are as follows:
  • Fall admissions applications are accepted from March until July.
  • Spring admissions applications are accepted from October to the end of November.
After being admitted into the ABP, students will take a placement test in English, math, computer skills.
Based upon the results of their placement tests and the majors they plan to pursue at university, students are placed in English, science, math, and computer classes.
 
Important Dates for the Fall 2017 Semester 1
  • The ABP will contact accepted students (via phone, SMS, or email) and arrange placement testing on either July 31st or August 1st.
  • Student orientation will be held on the August 2nd and August 3rd.  
  • The fall semester begins on August 13.
  • Students who report late for placement tests and orientation may not be allowed to enroll at the ABP.

  • The ABP will contact accepted students (via phone, SMS, or email) and arrange placement testing on December 5th.
  • Student orientation will be held on January 8th.
  • The spring semester begins on January 9th.
  • Students who report late for placement tests and orientation may not be allowed to enroll at the ABP.
