Annual ABP Robotics Championship 2025
This is the third time ABP is organizing a Robotics Championship, where multiple schools from across Qatar are participating. This year, 15 school teams will compete, including Qatar Academy for Science and Technology (QAST), Al Maha Academy for Girls, Sherborne Girls, American School of Doha (ASD), American Academy School, Awfaz Global School, Hayat International School, Qatar Science and Technology School, United School International, The Next Generation School, Philippine School Doha, Qatar Academy Al-Khor, Aspire Academy, Lebanese School Doha, and Academic Bridge Program.
The theme for this year’s event is “Saving the Marine Ecosystem.” Teams will design and program robots to rescue a scuba diver, contain an oil spill, protect turtle eggs, and support coral and pearl farming.
Participants attended three workshops on January 18th, January 25th, and February 1st, where teams gained hands on experience on building physical robot models and programming them using Robot C language. The final event is scheduled for February 15th at 2:00 PM at the ABP LRC.
