Student Center

Traditionally considered the “living room” of campus, the HBKU Student Center fosters interaction between students, faculty, and staff. It hosts a wide variety of educational, cultural, social, and recreational activities. The Student Center includes a computer store, a convenience store, a photocopy center, a bookstore, a coffee shop, meeting rooms, and a food court.

Qatar Foundation’s Recreation Center is another place for students to indulge in recreational activities. The building houses a coffee shop, a bank, Ooredoo office, fitness rooms, and an Olympic sized swimming pool.

Several trams are available on campus to transport students around Qatar Foundation.

Student Accommodation

Qatar Foundation provides a limited number of student residences on its campus for international students who study at the Academic Bridge Program (ABP). The current housing units are state-of-the-art and are models of sustainable living. Students are housed in one, two, or three bedroom apartments that are fully furnished with full kitchens. Each apartment houses two, three, four or six students.

All buildings are gender specific and residents must be respectful of the cultural expectations in Qatar.
