Admissions and Fees
The Academic Bridge Program (ABP) annually admits secondary school graduates from Qatar and other countries in the region who need to improve their English, math and science skills in order to meet the admission standards of – and to do well in – highly selective universities.
Students seeking admission to the ABP often wish to study business, engineering, computer science, medicine, art, international relations, journalism, or communications at university. That said, the ABP admits students who wish to study other subjects as well.
How to Apply

application form before being considered for
admission.

- All ABP Application must be submitted online through our application website, by following this link.
- Official copy of High School Certificate scores. Students must have completed high school with averages as indicated below:
- 70% or C for Fall Admissions*

70% or C for Spring Admissions*
* Note: Students with High School average of less than 70% can still apply; however, application will be pending further review for official approval. Students applying from British Schools must have 2 AS grades and 5 IGCSE grades.
- IELTS with a minimum score as indicated below:
- 4.5 for Fall Admissions
- 5.0 for Spring Admissions
- IELTS scores should be submitted to the admissions office or sent to ABP, Attention: Admissions Coordinator, P.O. Box 24404,
Doha, Qatar. These scores must be received by the ABP on official score reports. OR iBT TOEFL with a minimum score as indicated
below:
- 53 for Fall Admissions
- 61 for Spring Admissions
- All test results should be from the last two years.
- Application fee of QR 500 (non-refundable) payable online.
- Upload passport-size photograph.
- Upload a copy of ID card.
- Upload a copy of passport.

The student is responsible for all tuition and fees for the ABP unless the Academic Bridge Program receives a statement of full support from a sponsoring agency.
Corporate sponsorship and sponsorship from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education are often available for Qatari students.
Tuition Fees for full Academic Year:
- Tuition fees for Qatari students who prefer Family Sponsorship are QR 80,000 per year.
- Tuition fees for non-Qatari students are QR 80,000 per year.
- All non-sponsored students will have to pay a QAR 10,000 advance payment after they receive their formal admission approval. The QAR 10,000 will be credited to their tuition fees after the third week of enrollment.
- ABP offers an installment plan that allows students to pay their fees in multiple installments throughout the academic year (approval of the payment plan will be on a case-by-case basis). Click here for more info on installment plans
